Workflow
- There are many roles on production teams that work independently. Designers, developers, analysts, copy editors, testers, the list goes on. Each role is staffed to provide a very specific input that, together, will help complete a project. Simply having all the right roles on a team does not guarantee a timely and sufficient outcome. There must be an order of operations so that each contribution is received at the right time. A project is broken into a series of components which, together, make up the whole of a product. These are called epics. Each epic consists of a number of actions that are fulfilled to build out the functionality of a product. These are called stories. Stories are components assigned to developers who build out the scaffolding to accommodate the remaining components from other roles on the team.
