- [Instructor] In this video, we'll continue our discussion of Scrum and talk about roles and events. We'll describe Scrum roles, differentiate the product owner and Scrum master, identify common characteristics of Scrum events, identify the purpose of the sprint planning meeting, daily standup, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. We'll start with Scrum roles. A Scrum team is made up of three roles, the product owner, scrum master and the development team. This team is cross-functional. They generally have the skills to support the product through its entire life cycle. The team members are flexible and adaptable and are continuously learning and working on things that they haven't worked on before. The team is self-organizing.
