Create research objectives
- Your research is an in-depth study of a problem in the field. With identifying a problem comes an attempt to find a solution. When you run a research experiment or compare two variables in a statistical regression you are searching for an answer to that problem. If you don't know what you're looking for, how are you going to know you found it? Research objectives are parts of your research study anchoring what you hope to find with your research methodology. In the same way you will document your sample population or your data storage, you will need to document the efforts your study will make in order to achieve a solution in the face of the research problem. Your research will have more than one objective. Answering research questions and testing the research hypothesis are examples of research objectives but there are general and sometimes specific objectives which will not directly relate to the hypothesis or a research question.
