India's telecom regulator's decision to penalize providers who fail to meet minimum 4G service requirements sends a clear message: accountability is non-negotiable. It's time for providers to prioritize delivering on their promises to customers. I fully support this move towards greater accountability in the telecom sector. Jio Platforms and its subsidiaries filed for 1,255 patents and were granted 144 in FY2023-24. The cumulative count of patents granted has increased to 331 as of March 2024, the report said.
