Facilitating discussion groups for white friends and family. In the wake / wake up of George Floyd's death, I decided to utilize past experience as an anti-racism trainer (most active from 2007-2013) to lead two groups which still meet regularly. My approach is to hold space for draft thinking, embrace nuance, and support each other in turning conversations into concrete action.

Other impactful moments: Appointed to national-level advisory committee by the Association's President due to reputable local leadership. Committee recommended a new framework for youth ministry throughout the country. Began learning journey of anti-racism and social justice in 2007. For 2009 General Assembly annual conference, collaborated with a remote team on over 10 hours of programming. Prepared technical script and presented own talk to conference track of 500 people. Planned several regional weekend conferences of 100-300 people as district representative and local leader.
