What do you do if you need to detect anomalies with machine learning software?
Supervised learning: An algorithm learns from labeled training data and helps predict unforeseen data outcomes. This model is applicable to spam classifiers, fingerprint analysis, fraud detection, and image classification. Unsupervised learning: The machine is trained using the unlabeled dataset and works independently to find the pattern from input data. This model is applicable to ads recommendation and social media apps. Reinforcement learning: An algorithm takes an appropriate action to obtain the maximum reward in each situation. This model is applicable to use in self-driving cars and robot navigation.

How can you tell if a machine learning model is overfitting?
The model exhibits high accuracy on the training data but shows poor performance on unseen test data. This discrepancy indicates that the model has memorized specific patterns in the training data rather than learning generalizable ones. To prevent this, ensure that your model is trained on a sufficiently large and diverse dataset. Splitting your dataset into separate training, validation, and test sets is crucial. This approach guarantees that the model's performance is evaluated on unseen data, helping to gauge its ability to generalize beyond the training set.

How can you choose the right machine learning algorithm for your project?
Choosing the appropriate evaluation metrics in machine learning (ML) relies on various considerations, including the problem's nature, dataset characteristics, and project objectives. One critical consideration is the balance of the data; if it's highly imbalanced, accuracy may not accurately reflect the model's performance. Instead, for classification tasks, metrics such as precision, recall, F1 score, or area under the ROC curve (AUC-ROC) are more suitable.
