I am currently a part of the Cognitive Empowerment Project, a collaboration between Georgia Tech and Emory University, which strives to empower older adults with degenerative mild cognitive impairment. This project aims to extend the ecosystem of active care from the clinic, into the everyday lives of the program participants using technology. I specifically work on this home technology suite, and am currently exploring how conversational assistants can empower and support day-to-day activities for this population.
