A kratom study examining the impact of long-term kratom use on electrocardiogram (ECG) results found no association with ECG abnormalities, suggesting that kratom usage for health benefits could be a safe and natural practice. 🍃”the results indicate that long-term usage of kratom for its health benefits may be considered a safe and natural practice” “Electrocardiogram Analysis for Kratom Users Utilizing Deep Residual Learning Network and Machine Learning” “The main results of our study showed that kratom usage is not associated with ECG abnormalities. However, the ECG signal was affected more by gender than by the other factors; it exhibited the highest sensitivity and specificity (score = 0.63). 🌿 Advocating for Cannabinoid Therapies 🏥" In a recent Television interview, I emphasized the crucial role of education for doctors prescribing Cannabinoid Therapies. -The Ministry of Health in Panama hasn't authorized any cannabis products, and those bought on the streets lack official approval and quality control. -I cautioned patients against purchasing unapproved cannabis products due to potential health risks like heavy metals, fungus, and pesticides, among many other risks. -In Panama, only MDs are allowed to prescribe Medical Cannabis. -Education is crucial to the broader acceptance of cannabis as medicine. As someone who has taught thousands of medical professionals globally, they will not prescribe unless they are correctly educated about the benefits and risks of cannabinoid therapies. Breast CA (BC) & TNFi - study of 2 cohorts (Optum commercial * SEER/Medicare) found that 17% & 16% of BC pts received TNFi. 1 yr overall survival was no different +/- TNFi (HR= 0.77 & 0.84); but BC survival better on TNFi (HR 0.28; 0.08–0.98) vs csDMARDs.
