Bulk Operations allow me to make thousands of changes to my PPC campaigns with a single upload. I can add new campaigns, adjust bids, update budgets, and much more, saving me a lot of time and effort. Let's talk about it. ⤵️ How Do I Download and Upload Bulk Sheets? I log into Seller Central, go to Campaign Manager, and click “Bulk Operations.” I select “Create spreadsheet for download” to get the bulk file. The file preparation can take from a minute to an hour, depending on the size of my account. After making changes, I go back to Bulk Operations, choose the file, and upload it. It’s crucial not to change the “Record ID.” 🦡 How Do I Create New Campaigns? I use the Bulk Operations template, which can be downloaded from the Bulk Ops page. I fill in the campaign information: 1. Record type: “Campaign” 2. Campaign: Campaign name 3. Campaign Daily Budget: Daily budget 4. Campaign Start Date: Start date 5. Campaign Targeting Type: Targeting type 6. Campaign Status: “enabled” ➕ How Do I Create New Ad Groups? In my spreadsheet, I set the record type to “AdGroup.” I fill in: 1. Campaign: Campaign name 2. Ad Group: Ad group name 3. Max Bid: Maximum bid 4. Ad Group Status: “enabled” 👍 How Do I Add SKUs? I set the record type to “Ad.” I fill in: - Campaign: Campaign name - Ad Group: Ad group name - SKU: The product SKU - Status: “enabled” 🗝️ How Do I Add Keywords? I set the record type to “Keyword.” I enter: - Campaign: Campaign name -Ad Group: Ad group name -Max Bid: Maximum bid - Keyword or Product Targeting: Keyword or product ASIN - Status: “enabled” What Advanced Tactics Do I Use? 1) What is the RPSB Strategy? I run an auto-campaign, extract converting search terms, add them to a manual campaign, and block those terms in the auto-campaign with negative keywords. To do this, I transfer the search terms to the sponsored products template, setting them as “NegativeExact” for auto-campaigns and “Exact” for manual campaigns. 2) How Do I Optimize Negative Keywords? I identify high-spend, no-conversion search terms and add them as “NegativeExact” to block them. This helps avoid spending on inefficient search queries. 3) How Do I Copy and Paste for International Markets? I copy optimized campaigns from one market and paste them into another with the same language (e.g., from the US to the UK). This significantly speeds up the process of launching new campaigns in international markets. 4) What Advanced Bid Strategies Do I Use? I use a formula to calculate the perfect bid: Total Sales / Total Clicks * Target ACOS %. I apply this formula to my bulk file for quick optimization of bids across thousands of keywords. Are Your Products “FBA Ready”? 🚛📦 Here is a 7-step checklist to avoid delays, extra fees, or penalties when shipping to FBA: 1️⃣ Barcodes Are Key: ↳ Ensure each item has an exterior scannable barcode (UPC, EAN, or FNSKU). ↳ Cover or remove any other barcodes that could confuse scanners. 2️⃣ Secure Packaging: ↳ Loose items? Bag or band them. ↳ Sold as sets? Label them “Do Not Separate.” ↳ Boxes? Seal tightly and ensure they can handle a 3-foot drop test. 3️⃣ Poly Bag Rules: ↳ Use bags with suffocation warnings (if openings are over 5 inches). ↳ Bags must be clear, sealed, and thick enough (1.5 mil minimum). 4️⃣ Bubble Wrap & Over-Boxing: ↳ Fragile items need bubble wrap that passes a drop test. ↳ Sharp, heavy, or hazardous items may require an extra protective box. 5️⃣ Label Everything: ↳ Each item and box needs a unique FBA ID label. ↳ Use strong tape and ensure no old labels are visible if reusing boxes. 6️⃣ Size & Weight Limits: ↳ Boxes should not exceed 25 inches on any side or weigh over 50 lbs (unless oversized). ↳ Heavier boxes (50+ lbs) require a "Team Lift" label. 7️⃣ Prep for Special Items: ↳ Expiry dates must be clearly labeled (MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY). ↳ Adult products need opaque packaging. ↳ Liquids, powders, or sharp items need extra care like poly bags or bubble wrap. Amazon PPC isn't just about setting up campaigns and fighting to death for wining bids. A lot of supportive arrangements are needed. Listings should be top-notch, with USPs clearly communicated to the buyer. Inventory management should be spot-on, ensuring enough inventory to meet increasing sales projections. Pricing should justify your offer. If you're not the cheapest, the customer should understand the value you provide. Otherwise, competitors are working hard out there to dominate. It's only a matter of time before you become irrelevant if an all-encompassing strategy isn't in place. #amazonselling #fba

🔥 Agency Growth Hack: Buy another agency ... this is possible even for smaller agencies without a lot of cash stacked.... hear me out! When growing Inflow® over the years, I missed out on one growth strategy that, in hindsight, would have been clutch: buying another agency. I could have purchased an agency similar in size and service offerings for 0% down using SBA financing (and solving for a tough hiring market at the time). Another option would have been buying a complimentary agency like an email marketing or affiliate marketing agency where we could cross-sell services to a more extensive client base. I’m getting clicks for an average CPC of $8 on keywords with suggested bids over $50. This is why I almost never rely on automated bidding strategies. Manual bidding is not as much work as most people think. If you're working with larger accounts, you can easily optimize your bidding strategy using scripts. Here are a few ways you can use scripts to maximize conversions without draining your budget. 1. Performance-Based Bidding (Conversions, ROAS, or CTR) If I’m running a campaign with sufficient conversions (data), I’ll set a script to raise bids on keywords that drive high ROAS or conversions. But in newer campaigns with less data, I might switch to CTR-based adjustments. For instance, if “cash-out refinance texas” has a high CTR, I’ll increase bids there even before conversions start rolling in since CTR is a good indicator that a keyword is attracting relevant audience. 2. Weather-Based Bid Adjustments For clients in industries affected by weather, like real estate or home repairs, weather-based bidding makes a huge difference. If a storm hits and people start searching for home repairs or refinancing, a weather-based script can automatically increase bids in impacted areas. It’s a great way to reach people exactly when they’re most likely to need these services. 3. Dayparting Optimization For accounts with peak hours (like a mortgage broker firm seeing more engagement after work hours), I set a dayparting script to raise bids during those high traffic times and pull back during off hours. It keeps the budget focused when people are more likely to convert, without overspending. 4. Competitor Monitoring If I notice a competitor is pulling back on bids for a high cost keyword, this script helps me adjust in real time to take advantage of the extra visibility. I’ll slightly increase my bid to capture those impressions without going all in - a smart way to stay competitive without a full bidding war. 5. Budget Health & Pacing Monitor For larger accounts with strict monthly budgets, this script is a life saver. If a campaign is spending too fast in the first two weeks, the script adjusts bids down to ensure we don’t run out by month’s end. And if there’s budget left near the end, it’ll increase bids to maximize reach without overspending. 6. Auction Insights Tracking This script tracks metrics like impression share, letting me see where my ads rank compared to competitors. If a key keyword like “cash out refinance eligibility” isn’t getting enough visibility, the script increases the bid to improve positioning without overspending. Using these scripts helps me control CPC, target the right audiences, and optimize high bid keywords without automated bidding. Advanced Amazon PPC Strategy to Increase Your Sales and Lower ACOS using STR When you look at search terms in a Search Term Report, the data is all mixed up. One search term has no orders, then the next one is bringing in 10% of the orders, etc. Dealing with different types of search terms without any organization is quite a stressful task. Many times it gets confusing in the sheets. The right way to do it is to segregate different types of search terms. That’s how my team and I do it. This is the most efficient and fastest way to optimize. Segregate the search terms based on data. It also comes down to having a good PPC structure. You want to have a portfolio for every product so when you are using sheets, you can separate data for every product. So, this is something you have to do: put a portfolio filter to look at the data for one product at a time. Now, let’s say for a product, the breakeven is 35%. So, obviously, you want to get ACOS under 35%. Suppose that product got 1200 orders in the last 30 days. What you do is separate the search terms that are bringing in 70-80% of the orders from the search terms that are bringing in 20-30% of the orders. You do this by using the orders filter. The search terms that are bringing in 70-80% of orders are very few in number in the majority of cases. They may be 40 search terms or 50. They can be 20 or even less. And the search terms that are bringing in 20% of the orders are hundreds of search terms. Once you have the data ready, use the ACOS filter to separate the profitable search terms from the bleeders. In our case, 35% is the breakeven. You can say, greater than 35% ACOS = bleeders, less than 35% = profitable. Name the search terms so you can filter them out later. Now the end data looks like this: You have two sets of search terms which are bringing in 80% of the orders, as profitable ones and bleeders. And you have two sets of search terms which are bringing in 20% of the orders, as profitable ones and bleeders. Now you can go into them one by one. For example, you can choose the 80% profitable ones and then use another filter to only show the exact match search terms. If a search term has 34% ACOS, you can go into the campaign manager to look at placement data, etc., and then optimize. You can check the bleeders, optimize them, and reduce ad spend. For good search terms, push them for more sales. Deal with all the different types of search terms one by one.
