Final Practicum: Nurse education has changed significantly moving from certificate to diplomat status, from hospital-based training to integration within the higher education system. In recognition of the importance of student learning during practice placement, nursing students needed support by a named preceptor. This recommendation had implications in terms of current staff demands, staff preparation and ongoing support for the preceptor role. Reviewed the literature on student support mechanisms during practice placements with particular emphasis on the concept of preceptorship. Initiated a new program to support nursing students preparing for their preceptorship. -

"Every dream begins with a dreamer" -From childhood to adulthood, we take on many roles as we grow and learn to become who we are;
"Kicking off a New You" - Allowing your dreams to come true for a better life;
"Breaking Your Rubber - Going Beyond Your Expectations" - Conveying how to go beyond expectations under conditions of uncertainty and vulnerability so you can begin to break your rubber.
"The Best Friends I Never Knew" - Every friend and every acquaintance was once a stranger. How we embrace someone today who was a stranger yesterday could change your life tomorrow.
"Welcome Fall When Seasons Change" - Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence. Summer passes, and one remembers one's exuberance. Autumn passes, and one remembers one's reverence. I learned the meaning of reverence when he was able to "Welcome Fall When Seasons Changed.
"Let's sleep on it" - Almost everyone one time or another has had trouble sleeping. Different events can interfere with a good night sleep. One of the best things is that you don't have to 'believe' in this; you don't have to have willpower. You simply have to f begin a habit.
