You're aiming to build brand loyalty. How do you customize marketing strategies for diverse customer groups?
The number one thing I start with when helping my clients build their brand is "What is your clients biggest pain and how can you make it crystal clear you are the solution"? That can vary based on different client "architypes" or avatars. If you serve men and women... maybe they have a different reason for wanting your product or service. If you have many options with a range of prices, your top price range client may want to get back their time and use your service to optimize. In the lower price range, that client may want to build their business and learn "how to do it themselves". The way you present you brand needs to be customized to each person. It may seem hard to do, but if you can master this... you win the branding game.

Here's how you can enhance your company's brand image and reputation using social media.
Stories are the ultimate connection tool for people and companies! We often talk too much as companies about products and features and forget to share stories and ideas that connect on a deeper level. In the industries, like the building materials industry, many people do not believe social media is a good way to market. They don’t think their “target audience” is on social. This could not be further from the truth. One way I think all companies can thrive and grow their brands on social media is by telling stories. Talk about your business, talk about your customers, talk about your teams… but make sure you’re telling a story that shows more people and personality and less features and benefits. Brand + Story + Social = 📈

What do you do if your brand identity isn't resonating with consumers over time?
Having a strong vision and outlining what success looks like is the first step to building and achieving a brand customers align with. One great way to understand what you may need to access and change about your brand strategy is to talk to your customers! Speaking to clients on a regular basis. Asking them what they resonate with and what is not their favorite. Asking them what’s missing from the story and experience that would make a difference. Also comparing the target audience to your audience when you were successful. Ask what has changed and how the new audience may be different from your old one. Is there some major change you have made? Did you lose sight of what success actually looks like to your brand? Time to Realign!

Building a strategy and empowering champions in your brand and company is the best way to leverage the power of personal branding within your company. Companies with ceos that have personal brands are 11% more profitable, according to Forbes. People want to connect with other people… not company logos. One step to showcase how your company treats employees, customer success stories, and form a strong brand image is to ask employees if they would be interested in being a part of an internal “brand ambassador” program. Brand ambassadors who love posting and sharing their stories are a great choice to start this campaign. They will be easier to work with on posting content that shows up as organic and authentic shares.
