  • Predictive Crime Analysis

    - Present

    Analyzing the crimes occuring at a location, drawing patterns and insights from the reports lodged. Based on the location of the crime occurred, segregating the crimes into major categories and performing a time series analysis based on the time of occurrence of the crimes, the aim is to predict the future and help reduce the crime rate in that particular location.

  • House Prices- Advanced Regression Techniques

    We built a housing price prediction model using advanced regression techniques to predict the prices of the residential houses in Ames, Iowa as part of a Kaggle competition.

    Analysied Twitter data obtained by querying specific keywords to find a relationship between mental health disorders and the environment of the person. Used sentiment analysis and regression models to draw a picture between the countries with high disorder rates and the awareness of the issues.

  • Control of Wheelchair using Hand Gesture Recognition

    Built a wheelchair for paraplegics which runs on hand gestures using a webcam interface, image processing algorithms, integrated circuits to handle the live data and a mechanical structure to support the load of the person as part of our final year thesis. The main aim of the project is to make the eelctronic wheelchairs more accessible and economical.
