Making mandalas, or any improvisational art without a structure or outline ahead of time, is a fun, no-risk, low-stakes way to get more comfortable with "blank canvas" thinking, emergence, and the unknown. Mandala making has been proven to have a profound impact on fostering inner peace, beyond immediate stress relief and into deeper layers of who we are. In this series, we will practice the art of emergent mandala making - not having an outline ahead of time - creating both the structure and the details as you go in real time. In this workshop you'll experience the process and techniques and start making your own mandalas; and to engage principles for moving through the unknown. Creating mandalas can be used as a way of deepening your relationship with the creative unknown, cultivating your unique expression, and connecting with the inner peacefulness of the process - a sanctuary in an unpredictable world. It is also an practice in adapting in the moment, improvising, and presence. In this online workshop, we'll explore making mandalas like a visual improvisation, with one creative moment informing the next until something coherent emerges; turning "mistakes" into adaptive invitations; and "hacks" to be able to create when uncertain what's next. This one has an option for a second workshop, where we will go deeper into other techniques you can use, and deeper into your creativity, personal questions, and discoveries. This weekend I held my first Workshop for Chakra Decoding. A new certification for Holistic Practitioners that provides insight and the fundamental knowledge behind Eastern Philosophy.
