I love the SWSX Interactive festival, but am not able to make it to Austin each year. Therefore, am always glad to help others attend by being part of the panel selection process. Each board member evaluates hundreds of panel idea submitted from around the world to Panel Picker. Our votes help determine the final tally - there are usually about 1,000 panels and workshops, and around 5,000 speakers.

But there’s a group we’re overlooking, says Sree Sreenivasan, and that’s digital immigrants. In a short, charming talk he makes the case for skepticism and perspective from an older generation.
