Seeing more posts about re-domiciling tech companies in India to take advantage of multiples being paid by Indian investors on tech stocks. I think this is might be a bit short-sighted. Especially if the goal of the founding/management team is to confer “currency” status to the securities they can issue. Going public in India might be good for investors on the cap-table trying to attain exit liquidity in the near term but it comes at the cost to the management team of having to fund acquisitions and operations with Indian securities going forward.

Software stocks, as measured by the BVP Cloud Index, gained 1,000%+ from 2013–2020, while the S&P gained just 150%. It was a great run... But now it’s AI’s turn to eat the world. Andreessen says so himself: “AI will replace software.” Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang agrees, saying “AI is going to eat software.” 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐈 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞? I can easily automate most of what these companies do. Startup Inflection AI, for example, can generate natural language content for lots of purposes, including sales and marketing. Tools like this can make Salesforce’s vaunted customer-relations software obsolete in a flash. A lot of companies that pay a lot of money for Salesforce will adopt AI instead. Salesforce's revenue growth has already slowed to record-low levels. And the stock just crashed 20% in one day after missing revenue expectations for the first time in nearly two decades. If you're thinking of buying the dip in CRM, don't! Salesforce is a “sitting duck” that has a lot to lose as AI transforms its whole industry. Alibaba has become a money market machine in China Alibaba, through its asset management affiliate Ant Financial, is holding the largest money market fund (MMF) in the world – Yu’E Bao – , with more than 260 million unitholders and $220 billion AuM, representing 27% of total AuM in China’s MMF market. It build it in only 4 years by leveraging the success of its online shopping platform (Taobao), the world’s largest one, and its digital payment channel Alipay with its 520 million users. The principle is simple: Alibaba gives its customers the option of transferring idle cash they have in their e-wallet into a fund. It’s thus become more convenient than going outside to invest cash, since Alipay users are able to transfer funds to and from Yu’E Bao with no minimum investment threshold, no increased costs and no time delay. Moreover, Yu’E Bao offers higher yields than bank deposits, through the use of advanced big data analysis and prediction models for liquidity and duration risks.

India-based crypto exchange company CoinDCX has acquired the UAE-based virtual assets trading platform BitOasis, for an undisclosed value. The acquisition marks CoinDCX first investment the MENA region. Founded in 2016 by Ola Doudin, BitOasis is MENA’s first and largest crypto asset exchange. It is available in 15 countries across the region, allowing its users to buy, hold and sell 60+ cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, CoinDCX, founded in 2018, is a crypto exchange in India that provides 15 million users easy access to Web3 experiences and democratizes investments in virtual digital assets. CoinDCX, along with Wamda Capital and Jump Capital, had previously invested in BitOasis in August 2023. Here is a quick update on the current situation. To sum up, it seems like we are finally out of the 7-month-long range. The new scenario indicates a breakout on the daily bearish trendline. However, I am hesitant to consider it a breakout due to its pattern and volume. Today's drawdown further confirms this theory, as the price reacted strongly to the trendline, pushing the price up. As mentioned in the last post, the bearish movements were driven by a lack of liquidity, points of interest (POIs), and inefficiencies that needed to be addressed. All of these factors support our theory. For now, I will keep my position open and observe the market's reaction around the 70k zone. If you have any opinion, I am open to any form of confront M :)
