I participated and helped raise money for the first Yoga Reaches Out Bay Area (YROBA) in 2011 and in 2014 was a Team Lead of one of the top three largest teams in participants and donated funds to UCSF Bernoff Children’s Hospital.

  • The Effects of Charitable Donations and Cash Bonuses on Employee Performance: A Field Study of Call Center Sales Agents

    This dissertation examines the impact of bonuses and charitable donations on employee job performance. The bonuses were awarded during two separate weeks in an active call center in Sonora, Mexico.

    1. The first incentive week, call center sales agents were awarded a cash bonus each time they completed a specific type of sale. The bonuses were accumulated and included in their weekly paychecks.

    This dissertation examines the impact of bonuses and charitable donations on employee job performance. The bonuses were awarded during two separate weeks in an active call center in Sonora, Mexico.

    1. The first incentive week, call center sales agents were awarded a cash bonus each time they completed a specific type of sale. The bonuses were accumulated and included in their weekly paychecks.

    2. The second incentive week, call center sales agents were awarded the equivalent monetary value bonus for the same type of sale as during the first incentive week, but this time the accumulated bonuses were instead donated to a charity that provides for low income, at risk children in the local area.

    Simultaneously, I performed an employee satisfaction survey that revealed a significant improvement in employee's perception and committment to their employer, Listen Up Español.
