About
I have my Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on health equity and social justice. My goal in attaining this degree is to create social change by identifying systemic inequities and creating frameworks and policies to address these issues and in order to improve the health outcomes of communities and neighborhoods that are being most affected by these injustices.
I currently serve as the operations analyst for the Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care, and Treatment. In this position, I am working alongside my colleagues to promote equitable practices in our fiscal allocations to city-wide social services and programs that focus on initiatives that are designed to combat health disparities and promote social justice.

Activities and Societies: Traveling and learning Spanish.
I lived and studied in Madrid, Spain. I progressed in my degree and sought to learn, understand, and appreciate the Spaniard culture. By doing this, I learned Spanish and learned how to adapt to new surroundings. I traveled through fifteen countries including Morocco, Africa, and spent a lot of time networking and understanding the key differences and similarities that make up our global community.
