Four years ago, when I left my position at EHU, I predicted that EPAM would end its partnership with EHU by the end of a standard four-year bachelor round. So, that prediction has come true. While other managers were initially inspired and excited to add this project to their portfolios, the sudden conclusion serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of partnerships in the big tech. They thought that I sounded pessimistic, but it is not pessimism; rather, it's strategic management. It's crucial to stay adaptable and forward-thinking in navigating partnerships. And always consider that corporate business priorities and cycles differ significantly from the needs and dynamics of donor-supported NGOs. #NGOPartnerships #Adaptability #PredictionsVsReality

Wanna make your customers’ experience in your app more difficult? Start applying uncommon practices! 👏 Latest case I had myself. I had to renew the certificate for electronic signatures. The issuer was PrivatBank, the largest bank in Ukraine. Long story short - I can’t login. I forgot the password. I usually use the same pattern of password protection, for example - two digits in the beginning, two digits at the end, some dibadida in the middle. The only rule - fit into the standard (8 characters, one big, one number, one special, etc) thing. One “but” - PrivatBank has its own opinion on that 👍 No special characters, my friends. And give a few more digits, pleeeeease (no “please” - just give them). Cool. Great. I forgot the pass. Make sure you REALLY want this kind of thing in your app. Because sometimes it makes sense. Even more - sometimes it is preferable, if for example, your goal is to make sure the security is at its highest, and the password doesn’t get repeated anywhere. 🔒 Have you encountered similar situations?
