I worked as a consultant with Nimblelight, LLC. to help them achieve a robust back-end ecosystem and build process for one of their larger clients. I worked with the company to craft an import and search system for their inventory. The ecosystem utilized WebAPI 2, Windows services via TopShelf, a complete build & deployment pipeline including TeamCity, custom MSBuild files, packaging the sites via nuget, and implementing OctopusDeploy for streamlining deployment. It also implemented complex search functionality via ElasticSearch, which reduced search queries to around 20 milliseconds. Dependency injection was performed using Autofac, and the code was exercised with xUnit 2.0 tests. The project was managed via Github (a first for the client team) and Trello board in the early planning stages. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results, and I believe the clients were, too.

Along with my brother Ryan, as part of a new venture called KilleenCode, we designed and developed the web site for Allison Schnall's Woman of the Year campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We were proud to do good work for a good cause. The effort brought in over $72,000 for LLS causes, and as a result the group will be able to underwrite a research grant.

While President of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity's Eta Chapter, I worked to resolve judicial issues with the school, oversaw the orientation of our largest new member class in over a decade, guided the fraternity through rigorous school and national accreditation systems, and worked to improve internal standards and external image while creating lasting bonds with those around me. I oversaw the attainment of thousands of dollars for philanthropy and over one thousand hours of community service. These efforts culminated in our chapter being named the recipient of Greek Organization of the Year for 2009 -- just a year and a half after judicial trouble threatened to close the chapter shortly after I'd become a member. • President: Managed 40+ members through two different accreditation systems; achieved largest associate class in 10 years; oversaw over $2,000 in philanthropy and 3,000 hours of community service • Vice President: Mediated conflicts; presided as head of judicial and standards process; re-designed & re-instated standards board. • Membership Officer: Revised orientation program to meet changing standards; taught values and teambuilding to new members • Technology Officer: Strengthened communication & reporting via technology; created chapter web site
