I had a enlightening day meeting old and new friends at the Houston Data Connectors Cybersecurity Community conference. One of the highlights was attending Allgress, Inc. partner Blackswan Cybersecurity CEO Dr. Mike Saylor speak about the importance of proactively performing a business impact analysis (BIA) to establish policy and procedures to effectively manage #Cybersecurity risk. Mike emphasized the importance of quickly identifying policy gaps before you have business impact which is key to ensuring you douse the flames before they start. #compliance #risk

Great post Akhil Paul This really struck a chord: 'Experience is a set of biases that leads you to extrapolate from the past, preventing you from pursuing a radically different future.' Ironically, it may be the more experienced folk in the investment management space who will struggle to grasp the full and profoundly disruptive implications of "chain of reasoning" grade AI + agentic flow. Surpassing the Turing test changes the nature of any business built around a research process, decisions and communication. Indeed, I agree with the other point too - fast learning will be key!!
