The economic landscape for healthcare payers is challenging and expected to remain so for the foreseeable future. However, a significant opportunity still exists. My colleagues Shubham Singhal and Jessica Lamb explore how payers can leverage existing technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation to: ☑ Create net savings of 13 to 25% in administrative costs ☑ Reduce medical costs by 5 to 11% ☑ Improve revenue by 3 to 12% My key takeaway? It's crucial for payer CEOs to decide whether to be leaders or followers in this space, as the size of the opportunity suggests that those who choose to wait will need to have a ready response plan if competitors move ahead successfully.
