An Intel Corporation representative Jeff Rittener told US senate recently, under oath, that Pat Gelsinger was paid 40% more in 2023 while Intel was in deep shit and gave employees 5% base pay cuts and other cuts to benefits and bonuses, than he was paid in 2021 when Intel was having some of its best times in recent history. So Pat took the revenue down some 1.4x over two years, while his own income from Intel increased 1.4x over the same two years. When Rittener was asked how Intel Corporation management has the gall to layoff so many Americans while taking US govt money, he replied "Intel hasn't taken any money" - I'm sure this would be news to many. In fact it got more ridiculous - when asked why has Intel continued to invest in Chinese AI and Semiconductors companies through it's venture arm, Rittener replied that Intel wants to benefit from developments in that nation. This when Pat Gelsinger can't be shut up about Semiconductors manufacturing imbalance between Asia and the west, when he is begging for CHIPS Act money. Somehow China isn't in Asia according to his Atlas. Qualcomm has approached Intel Corporation for a potential acquisition, which could lead to one of the largest M&A deals in history, though it is still uncertain if an agreement will be reached due to possible antitrust scrutiny. If that was not enough, you greedily asked the BOC in 2021 for $100M bonus on empty promises . As it is obvious you are Intel problem, when are you going to resign, apologise to all the people who lose their jobs because of you and give back the money before disappearing ? as you are the last thing the US Semiconductor industry needs.

Big news over the weekend. The CHIP circus has a new act: Intel's leap. Happy Monday everyone. Intel's destiny was sealed when they didn't invest directly on AI yrs ago. The bus left and Intel's bet didn't pay. One can say that the CHIPs act was designed to help Intel catch up, yet was too little too late. Now, here comes Qualcomm with what appears a serious offer. The word though, is that nobody thinks that Qualcomm would be a better owner than the current corp ownership. Remember what happened with NXP in 2016? The $44B offer didn't go through. Qualcomm just couldn't go around the hurdles of manufacturing chips. Perhaps like in Tarantino's Django, Qualcomm may be asking Mr. Candy for the Mandingo fighter when in reality, they want Broomhilda. What do you think? Is Qualcomm's true intention to buy the complete corporation, or the offer is just a bunch of smoking mirrors to push out potential competitors and negotiate only Intel's PC unit side? Regardless, in my opinion, the winner will eventually be Intel stock owners because between the private sector and the government cash injections, the stock will have a big leap. Read this report about CEO Pat & Intel. Does not pay a gloomy picture. I hope Intel does make it but they will probably have a further harder time in 2025 and they need to get their shit together in all markets they play in. They need to start to realize that they are _NOT_ number #1 and start to become a bit humble and realize they are in a fight for their life and there will be futher cuts needed both in personel and pay. Look how long time it took AMD to finally come back after their miss with the bulldozer architecure, hint: it took years to get to zen architecture right and many painfull cuts. On the other hand OpenAI has now decided to build their own chips, does this mean that AiX will do the same?

Point number 3 in this that "Splitting design and manufacturing will be difficult given XYZ" is absolute non sense being propagated for years by the same people who for years sung praises for Intel Corporation TD group while blaming design engineering Client Computing group released #LunarLake made completely in TSMC and for once it really is beating competition in performance on every parameter - simply by leaving Intel Foundry so the splitting is already done. As for Intel Foundry having a negative valuation - well if the author believes that, then surely he must believe that merely shutting it down would add value to the company. If the US govt wants to take it off Intel's hands, that's even better. All Intel Corporation needs to do to survive is to leave Pat Gelsinger and company with their pet project of fear mongering about Asian manufacturing of chips and Intel Foundry, and move their production to TSMC Split the company, design and manufacturing are already split. they had to be. Intel doesn't lead in anything in manufacturing, that has been the truth for years if not more than a decade. Intel R&D division is a joke of me too stuff, and TD is more than a joke - they have long held power over the careers of executives in other divisions and that's how Ann Kelleher gang thrived. The only way for the company to survive is to get rid of these cancerous tumours. The "solid analysis" I suspect, based on the last couple of paragraphs is on the lines of "let's do more of the same". I wouldn't be surprised if Intel management paid for this analysis or otherwise influenced it.

I happen to notice some people are posting on Linkedin about their hardworking and importance and great achievement in Tesla after being laid off. Let me ask one question: if you are so important and did great job in Tesla( I am not denying that), why you are paid so low and eventually laid off ruthlessly? The take-home message is that "IT IS ONLY A JOB". Have your own dream, build your own business, run your own company, don't work for employer, work for your own company. I am not saying don't work for Tesla, I am saying that don't work for any company that is not your own. PLEASE START YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Qualcomm makes a bid for Intel Corporation was in news two weeks ago also https://lnkd.in/gyi56YUp There are scant details here but given what is going on with Intel's cashflows and Intel Foundry, and also the fact that Qualcomm has had less than no interest in Intel's manufacturing for nearly three years now, I am convinced that all Qualcomm really wants is Intel's CCG (Client Computing Group) PC/laptop business. They may be interested somewhat in servers too, but have absolutely no interest in the Foundry. Qualcomm tried hard to enter the PC marketnwith Arm architecture #snapdragon PC chips, which also got a great reception initially. However reports indicate that sales of Qualcomm based #Windows PCs have been tepid recently and the problems of emulating x86 applications on ARM are still persistent despite what is now a longer than a decade old effort. Qualcomm's existing businesses are focused mainly in Smartphone industry and have little chance of growing fast now, given that industry's maturity. But Qualcomm will have a shot at growing faster if it can capture the PC pie.
