META OBJECTIVE Removing such a wide disparity has to be the main objective, not being the 3rd biggest economy or being many trillion economy or achieving double digit GDP growth. This has to be the driving objective. If the main objective is incorrect then all the efforts will drive the country in wrong direction, faster.

Germany is giving the CCP five more years to irrevocably backdoor its telco systems before pulling the plug on Chinese technology. That is the message being sent out by its leaders this week. Despite more than a decade of warnings from the UK, USA and others about the risks of including Chinese technologies in its critical infrastructure systems, Berlin is finally waking up to the reality that any Chinese manufacturer can at the will of the CCP state, be told to implant 'back doors' or 'kill switches' in its technologies for use by the Chinese state in times of war of escalations of tensions with other countries. And China under Xi Jin Ping has been steadily escalating tensions with nearly every country outside of the China since 2012 or 2013. During the next five years, Germany will phase out components made by Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE from its 5G wireless network. This will likely worsen its already strained ties with the second-largest economy in the world, which may further strain its relations with Germany. According to the German Interior Ministry (BMI), by the end of 2026, components made by Chinese technology companies such as Huawei and ZTE will not be allowed to be used in the construction of the country's next-generation 5G mobile networks made by the German industry. To comply with this decision, the BMI decided that all existing components must be replaced by the year 2029. Considering 5G networks as a critical infrastructure, the German government maintains that they will have a key role to play in the energy, transportation, health care, and finance sectors in the coming years. The first is the development of Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) for 5G advanced technology. This is crucial because, currently, only four companies globally control the mobile base stations we rely on for communication. These are complex systems that require extensive manpower and advanced technology, making them a significant security and financial concern. By developing indigenous 5G base stations, we aim to make India less dependent on foreign technology and reduce the enormous costs associated with importing these systems. We are firmly in the AI Infrastructure cycle that fuses the devices, networks, and applications (DNA) of the global economy into a new ICT Layer. Today, Christopher Patrick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Handsets at #Qualcomm, met with analysts to review the company's moves in the AI marketplace as well as chip innovations. Ecosystem events, like Microsoft Build in May and Computex in June, are nexus points for #AI and CPU technology announcements. "We had the Microsoft Build event and then Computex... a lot of momentum, a lot of excitement on the PC side," he said, noting a positive response to CoPilot+ powered PCs. The alignment between PC and smartphone products and on-device AI continues, he noted "We’ll see some interesting synergies... between that computer product we just launched, and then our new smartphone products." Chinese smartphone brands like Oppo and Honor are moving fast to deeply integrate AI in their devices. "Obviously, they [Chinese brands] integrated this and they embrace this very heavily... Oppo’s kind of on-device AI eraser... Honor... deeply integrating AI into their UI." Market expansion is being pursued by penetrating lower price points with the lower powered 8S Gen 3, especially in China. The 8S Gen 3 features the Adreno 735 GPU, the 8 Gen 3 features the Adreno 750 GPU. "We introduced this 8S Gen 3... our first big expansion of the 8 Series... very successfully in China." Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon X Elite system on a chip (Soc) design dubbed Oryon for #AIPC s and plans to extend this architecture to handsets later this year. "We’ve just launched the Oryon CPU on PC... a new version of the Oryon tuned to the handset space is coming." Developer engagement via the AI Hub, announced at MWC-Barcelona in February 2024, aims to engage developers of AI technologies widely, with Google. "We announced the AI Hub at MWC this year... Google’s been a strong partner... important for the Android ecosystem." Qualcomm aims to include #5G technology in lower cost 5G devices, as part of addressing regions still reliant on 4G. Qualcomm's heterogeneous computing approach, where multiple processors work together for efficient AI processing, is a key strategy said Patrick. "We fundamentally believe in heterogeneous computing... the right processor for the right task." Multimodal AI is now part of every Qualcomm chip and used in even low-cost devices, powering features like voice activation, according to Patrick "AI is part of every one of our chips... voice activation capability even in very inexpensive devices."
