“I had the pleasure of woking very closely with Raffi over the course of a few months on a very time-sensitive project for a client. Raffi has the ability to clearly identify the needs of the client and provide strategic recommendations for efficiencies in development. He is detail oriented and a great communicator. Throughout the project, Raffi was equally dedicated to the success of the overall product as well as his team. Leadership and commitment are clearly Raffi's strengths. ”

Investors are pushing for unrealistic growth projections. How will you navigate this fundraising challenge?
Having been in this situation before, it is vital that boundaries get set from the outset. It's difficult to do, particularly as a first time founder, but its critical. No investor knows your business better than you do. It's important you know that and remind your board of it too. I had an investor tell me they regretted pushing me to spend so much on growth once we began to run out of cash. But the fault was ultimately my own. I regretted not having had the backbone to push back on the demands. It's probably the most critical lesson I took from my first startup experience.
