As part of the product definition and experience, I sought out statistics in regards of a convergence of demographics and what devices these groups tend to gravitate towards. The experience also went beyond just the concept of building a product specifically for hospital care, but also pre-hospital care and post hospital care and treatment. The concept for this application revolves around building an app that functions as an all encompassing application which centralizes all the needs felt from by patients, and through which they can easily access information about their physicians, scheduling appointments, checking on refills, get information on preventative care, and list goes on. The goal was to create an introduction to what this application can potentially be, with a focus on personalization and onboarding efforts. The product was also built around the concept of a global audience. 3 day project.

Theming focused specifically in the capability clients have to alter the UI to a certain extent, in order to satisfy their branding needs. For that matter a microsite was put in place that explains the concept of theming, what curated packages have been put in place, and what specific components in the product can be effectively altered. Localization was another important variable when creating the strategy for the UI implementation and definition - from aspects such as string length, readability, currency representation, all these factors were weighed and balanced. This case study showcases the final concepts for these products, as well as the result of workshops, alongside considerations for different languages and how that impacted the product rendering.

docsnap is a healthcare application allowing for a better integration of information between medical providers, patients and healthcare facilities. The goal for this project included the creation of a new web presence (responsive), and building infographics representative of how the application works and what type of solution it provides. I was responsible for the Interaction Design, Art Direction, Infographics, Illustration, Script and early storyboards. My colleague Nino Kapetanovic was responsible for the final storyboard and motion graphics. The ultimate goal for this project was an expansion of the brand’s awareness in the healthcare world. As this startup solidifies itself on the market, and its distinct solution, it’s important that the web and motion presence amplify those concepts.

This case study showcases the process by which Precor evolved the language of their touchscreen application to something that contemplated mobile applications and setting goals. The project also showcases the establishment of a gaming structure. My roles in this redesign effort included: user research, competitive analysis, product research, conducting user testing, information architecture, prototyping, visual design, product guideline structuring, review of builds and development. This application was more than a product improvement - it was a new business model for Precor. It represents a holistic way of looking at fitness - from the gym context, to every day life, in a single coherent ecosystem. This application engages with users in a compelling way, specifically addressing goals established, and biometrics that are established and defined by the user. Stories of personalization, gamification and ultimately user retention come into play in this product. The results are quantifiable in terms of both volume of sales, but also in the patented technologies that came from it.
