I managed the web livestream video technology, ensuring that everything necessary was in place and working properly, and I operated the four computers used for displaying Keynote and video presentations during the conference (both on site and on the web).

In 2010, I was part of the organizing committee behind TEDxPotomac at George Washington University - one of the first independently-organized TED events in Washington, DC. This day-long event featured fascinating talks and performances, and I'm proud to have helped make it happen.

I then served on its founding Board of Directors until the operation was taken over by WETA, in 1995, where it lived on for another 15 years.
