For brands debating activating Influencer Marketing over just producing UGC creative for their paid social campaigns there are a few pros & cons that stick out to me for going the influencer route. Pros: - Access to creator audience. - Perfect for long-term partnerships where you want brand ambassadors (perfect for affiliate marketing/driving topline "organically") - Ability to target their audiences with paid social campaigns to maximize reach & performance. - Ability to push paid ads through their profile, when done right should see big ROAS. - Cheaper than celebrity endorsements (with the same effectiveness at connecting with an already highly engaged audience.) There's also a few cons I consider before diving in: Cons: -Audiences are generally spread through multiple regions, making it harder to activate for regional brands. - Brand Safety is a risk that needs to be considered since you cant control what they say on every post. - More Expensive as you are paying for both creative (video) and access to audiences. what am I missing?
