    Clear Creek Canyon, west of Denver, Colorado, is a geologic wonder worth preserving. The Clear Creek Land Conservancy is doing just that by working with open space organizations and landowners to educate on preservation concepts and create conservation easements. Other goals of the CCLC:
    - Enhance, conserve, and interpret the processes of history, geology, water, wildlife and vegetation;
    - Identify the types and the characteristics of upland resources that require protection if…

    - Enhance, conserve, and interpret the processes of history, geology, water, wildlife and vegetation;

    are to be developed;
    - Outline a canyon-wide management system (for both public and private lands) which considers
    view sheds, wildlife, wildfire, vegetation, recreation, and access;
    - Delineate management zones within the basin so that different goals may be accommodated
    within different areas;
    - Improve recreational experiences in and around the canyon;
    - Develop innovative approaches to solving the canyon’s transportation problems.

RMCSR is a certified rescue organization through the Colorado Board of Agriculture’s State Veterinarian’s office. Dogs stay in carefully selected foster homes and receive complete veterinary care until they are matched to carefully screened and…
