Your competitors are slashing prices in your niche. How will you handle the pricing challenges ahead?
When competitors slash prices, reinforce your unique value rather than joining the price war. Emphasize outcomes and expertise, reminding clients why your service is worth the investment. Focus on your Perfectly Profitable Prospect Profile (P3P)—those clients who prioritize quality and long-term results. Instead of lowering prices, consider bundling services or offering value-added packages tailored to client needs. Strengthen relationships through personalized attention and emphasize the efficiency and ROI of your solutions. Show clients that investing in quality pays off more than opting for a budget choice.

You're struggling to measure content performance. How can you optimize your strategy for future success?
To optimize your content marketing strategy, start by focusing on impact. Prioritize content that attracts targeted traffic and drives conversions. Next, refine your Perfectly Profitable Prospect Profile (P3P)—those clients who truly value your expertise. Tailor content to address their specific needs, so each piece you produce resonates with those most likely to invest. Finally, simplify distribution by focusing on the platforms where your ideal clients already spend time. Whether that’s LinkedIn, industry blogs, or specific forums, prioritize consistent visibility in those spaces. By narrowing your metrics, aligning with your P3P, and being strategic with distribution, you’ll create an impactful content marketing strategy.

What do you do if deadlines are constantly missed at your small business?
Missing deadlines on a regular basis is a symptom of one of three main causes. Lack of bandwidth, inefficient processes, or lack of expertise. The first is a simple tasks of looking at the workload for everyone in volved and deciphering whether everyone has enough time to get everything on their plate done on time. The second deals with either having the right tools or efficient processes in place to facilitate prompt delivery. Take a look at each step of the projects and evaluate whether they are necessary and/or if there are more efficient ways to execute them. The third is a hard question to ask, especial when the owner/leader is the one missing deadlines. In the end, you have to be sure you have the right people in the right seat.

How can you create a collaborative marketing culture in your small business?
Everyone ahould consistently find new ways to differentiate themselves through their marketing efforts. I find some of the best ideas come from within your company. Gamification and insentives are great ways to ignite participation in your company's marketing. Incentives work well, to a point. Giving a bonus for new ideas that are implemented is one way to incentivize. The main issue with solely relying on this tactic is that the team's attention is only peaked periodically when new ideas are picked for implantation. Adding gamification gives you an opportunity to keep marketing front of mind every day without burning your tram out. One secret is to keep it fun and the scoreboard visible to everyone in a common area.
