f your organization’s default system development lifecycle methodology is agile ⚡️, I believe that is a MAJOR mistake. 🫥 Most organizations or enterprises do not neatly fit into either a purely waterfall 💧 or agile ⚡️ approach when it comes to software development. Last month at the Washington State IT Industry Forum & Modernization Summit, an WA State organization grappled with the challenge of streamlining intake and reporting processes. Excited to share my contribution to a recent article on CIO.com! It’s an intriguing read. I find it hard to grasp the idea of a CIO lacking confidence in their teams. Did I understand that correctly? Is it accurate? I have so many questions about how they would handle this situation. Could this be a reason for layoffs? However, I wonder if that truly drives cultural change within the organization. In today’s fast-paced environment, what strategies are CIOs using to accelerate cultural transformation? Would psychological upskilling of employees be part of that strategy?
