Deep Learning in Cerebral Cortex (Ph.D. thesis): developed a computational model of learning, attention, and pattern recognition in the cerebral cortex. Analyzing how the cerebral cortex solves key computational problems, and synthesizing new neural networks and deep networks algorithms that provide insight in other application domains. Will complete oral defense.
