    Activities and Societies: I was the dorm president for several years: school newsletter photographer, and radio station engineer.

    Two of the many professors that made a big difference in my life were Dr. Rolland. I remember when the PDP11 failed, and he was going to have to give up his entire weekend to fix it. His response was laugh-out-loud, and "I did not really want to camp in this heat". His ability to roll with any problem was a real inspiration to me. Ron Bayes was also an inspiration by encouraging me to find my own voice in writing and getting me to write my first book. It was St. Andrews Presbyterian College at…

    Activities and Societies: Listed in Who-Who's, Top in class, earned co-op position at IBM (out of only 5 positions available for all students). Worked in IBM field service / support as co-op program with high evaluations.

    Studied Computer Engineering Technology that included: machine language training; programming, circuit board creation, wire-wrapped board computer using an 8086 and basic computer repair.

    Activities and Societies: I was the first Editor of the first Year Book called The Falcon. Received a National Science Foundation scholarship to study Physics, Electronics and Acoustics. I returned from the training, wrote 115-page book on Holography and taught Holography to my peers as an elective. Was active in Photography. For sports trained in full contact Karate and weight training.

    After the NSF summer scholarship in Holography, Electronics and Acoustics that I receive thanks to the support of the Field School I was inspired to write the 115-page book on how to make holograms. I went to the principle and said that I wanted to teach a course to my peers in Holography and show her the book. She saw that book and said if you work up the curriculum and she approved it I could offer the class. This was one of the many examples of how extortionary The Field School was and I now…

    Holography is about making the first real 3D images with lasers. I had a black and white darkroom and was very involved in both taking photos used in several yearbooks and developing pictures.

Giving public talks in North Carolina and Virginia on the value of humor as a tool in healing. Assisting with the PR, news letter, website and monthly events…
