The Company plans to use this technology platform to establish a blockchain-based business aimed at the global iGaming market. Initially focusing on B2C (business-to-consumer) online casinos, the Company also plans to expand into a B2B (business-to-business) model, offering a seamless blockchain-enabled technology platform for gaming operators worldwide. In addition, management has identified certain global iGaming industry characteristics and trends that they believe make potential acquisition opportunities attractive. Management believes that the combination of the Gaming Technology Platform and the strength of a Nasdaq listing make the Company an attractive consolidation vehicle for the iGaming industry, and plan to work to identify potential acquisitions (although no targets exist at present).

⚡️ Senior Energy Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, Rob Barnett, sees momentum moving the energy transition away from fossil fuels and towards clean energy. 💰 He shares one example of this on a recent episode of VegTech Invest’s Upside & Impact: Investing for Change podcast where he says that in the last year fossil fuel has gotten $1 trillion in investments but clean energy has gotten $2 trillion in investments. 🌱 That kind of 2:1 ratio shows the movement towards the clean energy transition. Rob believes that as the energy transition continues, it will push the food system to transition as well. 📈 Although we disagree with Rob on one point: timing. From our expertise, we see that as we step towards 2030 sustainability goals, the current food system will shift much faster than in a few decades. My first US election cycle since the start of my career where I’m not having to build a range of potential scenarios with probability calculations and macro implications! Can’t say I miss it! 😂 This time around, I am purely focused on the implications for sustainable investing. To that end, Paul Drummond and I looked at the implications for climate investors. Our key takeaways: ✅ While many worry about the Inflation Reduction Act’s future, it seems fairly well insulated for the most part in any outcome. ✅ In our view, the biggest potential headwinds to climate action and thus investor confidence in climate opportunities will come under a Trump administration through the use of executive powers that influence regulators in the EPA and SEC, how states regulate themselves and supply chain costs due to tariffs. ✅ Renewable energy growth is likely to continue unencumbered given cost competitiveness while nuclear likely gets solid support in any administration. Electric vehicles face more headwinds under a Trump administration. ✅ We also think while US involvement in the Paris agreement is not directly impactful for investors, if a Trump administration escalated to pulling the US out of the UNFCC altogether there would be more profound ripples for global climate action, potentially affecting climate risks and opportunities for investors. #climateinvestment #uselection2024
