The CoPilot experience for corporate users will be changing. Right now most corporate ms365 controlled PCs enabled for the CoPilot "preview" (you can tell if you are by hovering the copilot icon in the lower right of your task bar) have that icon and can click it to run a local copilot experience on their PC. This experience only has access to public resources, not your local PC. This is a different experience than running the copilot APP (because of course Microsoft uses the same name for different systems) or from accessing CoPilot through Edge (again same name, different experience). This experience (desktop copilot) will be going away for "corporate users" and that icon will disappear - the "preview" is ending. It will be replaced by the CoPilot Application. This application is installed either from the Microsoft Store, or from your corporation's app distribution resource. As such - if you have a corporate admin and a controlled Store experience it's only available if they enable it. This will - I believe - force anyone in a corporation using the CoPilot features in that app - pay for the $30/month/user version of CoPilot available to corporations. The free version will only be available in Edge. and only if you have an MS365 non-corporate "live" account linked to it. Many organizations don't allow you to have both on your machine. The cost of running CoPilot for Microsoft is quite high and this is the beginning of forcing users into expensive subscriptions to help justify and offset that account. Enjoy free CoPilot while you can - in the future you may well and up spending more for coPilot than you do for the entire rest of your MS365 subscription should you wish to use it. On the plus side - the organizational version of CoPilot adds your organizations oneDrive and sharepoint and email resources to the CoPilot experience, allowing you to query and use that data privately - it's not shared with the rest of the world as public copilot data is. And it integrates into your apps to extend coPilot capabilities into things like word for composing information and spreadsheets for analyzing it. Expect lots of CoPilot changes in the coming months. We'll see how it all shakes out.

Unfortunately, your people can be your biggest liability, holding you back from your goals. Your management vision, skills, and leadership may help the underachievers get the job done, but is it effective enough to allow for the expansion and growth you are planning for?  Sometimes you must make the difficult decision to replace a position to move the business forward.     Many recognize it.  Few act on it until their EBITDA takes a hit. Additionally, your growth potential is further lowered by the amount of time it takes to find, recruit, vet, onboard, and assimilate a new employee into your organization and culture. It’s a hard thing to address. The good news is that there is real help when you seek it. "would you read our RFP reply and critique it?" version 2 I got to help a customer by being their editor on their RFP submission. Tooting the horn of our Pioneer software + their knowledge. RFP Provide examples of how you identify and execute on additional savings beyond rates. "We identified that a current customer had 28 compactors that were over serviced and placed Pioneer compactor monitors on them to automate hauling the compactors at nearly full, without pack-outs. We have saved the customer $116K annually on excess hauls."

When I watch Grammarly and Microsoft's built-in grammar tools overlap and battle each other for the proper correction in my proposal document... I just want to be grammatically correct; I don't care which one wins. #govcon #proposals

❓ Do you have a quick business recovery plan for a simple power outage or a hardware failure? It seems everyone these days is focused on protecting against cyber-attacks (which is smart), but your business could lose just as much due to a system failure or a blackout. ⭐ THE GIST: DO NOT ignore creating a business continuity and disaster recovery plan. Your plan doesn’t have to be overly complicated, but you must have a clear process of what happens if an application or system goes down and how long you can operate without it. 👉 If you don’t have a plan, start with these steps to jumpstart:   1️⃣ IDENTIFY CRITICAL SYSTEMS without which your operation, customer service, and revenue generation comes to a screeching halt.   2️⃣ PRIORITIZE RECOURCES – Perform a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to evaluate the potential impact of disruptions on business operations. Use this analysis to prioritize systems based on their criticality.   3️⃣ ASSESS YOUR DOWNTIME TOLERANCE – Establish Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) for each system, indicating the maximum acceptable time to restore operations after a failure so it has a minimal impact on your business and customers.  4️⃣ ALLOCATE BUDGET – Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to determine the financial impact of downtime versus the cost of implementing recovery solutions.
