You’re looking to expand your business. What online mentoring resources should you consider?
To summarize a lot of what these other wonderful experts have shared - I say to always focus on the 3 C's on mentoring. Clarity, Communication, Commitment – Have clarity of the roles and responsibilities of both parties. Communicate your needs, desires, and expectations. Also, everyone has to be committed. If you're going to meet once a week - DO THAT!

What are some effective ways to demonstrate your supervisory skills for a promotion?
One major lesson of the United States Marine Corps is that you are forced to learn the culture and adjust in order to be accepted. But, most importantly, everyone is taught how to follow so that they can lead. It doesn't take long for leaders/supervisors to show themselves, and another leader/supervisor will recognize the skill/talent. Don't run from being a person that has the answer to the solution, voice it, express it and allow others to listen and apply. Keep doing it, every time and any time you have the solution. This skill/talent alone will move you into supervising others as others will trust your solutions and your decisions.
