Selling on Amazon is Getting Difficult? Think Again… The New Fees in 2024 are going to bring some serious improvements. Amazon has introduced new fees in 2024, including: → Referral fee reductions for apparel products priced below $20 → FBA fulfillment fee changes → FBA monthly storage fee and aged inventory surcharge changes → FBA New Selection program changes → FBA fee changes for removals, disposals, and manual processing fee Amazon has also reduced fees in certain areas and removed others. For example, off-peak monthly inventory storage fees for standard-size products will be reduced by $0.09 per cubic foot starting April 1, 2024. AMAZON BLACK FRIDAY FBA INVENTORY DEADLINE: 10/19/2024 Amazon wants inventory at the warehouses by October 19th this year to guarantee availability for Black Friday. I feel like this is earlier than it has been in the past. Now we all know there will inventory that arrives after that will be able to be ready for Prime customers. However, with the increase of lost inventory we have seen (especially in sunglasses) if you can get the bulk of your Q4 inventory in by this date- it is a good target to set. Yes, this means potentially more storage fees. However, we had a brand that waited until October 31st to send in inventory last year. The inventory got misplaced and wasn't checked in until December 21st, so they missed the bulk of Christmas sales. Being in stock is more important than saving on inventory fees. The real hard part is balancing sending in inventory and FBA limits, which means prioritizing fast-moving SKUs. Anything you can do to increase velocity to increase limits in the next month will help give you the space to send inventory for Q4. #amazonsellers #amazonfba #Q4
