Hey Calendly...am I missing something? The integration with HubSpot seems to be missing some important features. Here is what I'm struggling with: ❌ The meeting type cannot be set. ❌ Other than the meeting activity, no date/time data is passed over for last meeting booked. ❌ Calendly only sometimes shows up as a conversion event. ❌ No-Show calls are being marked as Completed. Has anyone else faced these issues? Does anybody know a good workaround?

One of the most annoying parts of #CustomerSuccess is having to manage a #Portfolio with a high number of customers that are #Unresponsive. Trust me, if you show them that you can drive value for them, this will change! To drive this value, you have to think like them- as #BusinessPartners!

Send your SDR’s to events. This past week Brittany Moore and I got to attend a healthcare event in Dallas. We got to have a ton of in depth conversations with our ICP all day long and learned ALOT. SDR’s kick ass at events because: 1. They will talk to anyone, not just their specific accounts. Brittany doesn’t care if it’s not her account she just wants to generate leads. 2. They are proactive at initiating conversations, especially if you are not a household name..some people may not just stop by so you need to engage them. 3. They know enough to have in depth conversations but also keep it high level where it makes sense to set up follow up calls. 4. They are organized at capturing notes from these conversations. 5. They are great at following up with these leads. If you’re not sending at least 1 SDR to each in person event your missing out.

If you’re doing outbound sales, start at the top. If you catch the attention of the C-Suite, and they forward your email because they don’t have time… the recipient (likely the actual decision maker) will feel more obligated to get a demo. Think about it: How many times have you demoed software because YOU replied to a sales email? -versus- How many times have you demoed software because your boss or your boss’s boss forwarded you an email and said “can you look into this software?” - You feel obligated to get at least look into it and probably get a demo. #B2BSales #B2BMarketing

Friday Coffee Thoughts ( ☕ 3 coffees in...the struggle is real today): 1. Learn your product and how it works, but also learn about the problems it solves in as much detail as you possibly can. As CSMs, its our job to identify areas where we can further help our customers, & in order to do this, we need to be able to identify difficulties or gaps in their current set-up that our products can fill. There’s no use just throwing new features/products out there & hoping they stick - we need to fulfil a need, which in turn provides value & leads to a higher chance of retention. Get super familiar with the problems that your product is a solution to, and then ASK your customers how they’re currently managing these. You may just find that you have the answer 💡 2. Unsure how many notebooks (& pens) I’ve made it through since starting at Red Sift almost two years ago. Is this a common CSM problem or do I just take an excessive amount of notes during meetings? 🖊 📔 3. Polite request for Spotify to stop suggesting concerts to me that have already sold out - & yes, if the only tickets left are VIP for £2,000, my bank account confirms they have sold out 😅 Thank you x #fridaycoffeethoughts #customersuccess
