Your submittals set the tone—get them right, or risk delays. ⌛ It's Wednesday basics here. 📖 Submittals are a fundamental aspect of communication between the specifying engineer and the contractor completing the installation. They also reveal the extent to which the contractor understands the design intent and the specifications. Many people see submittals as a hammer and nail. I provide, you approve, we stay on schedule. If schedule is vital, then ensure your submittals are on point by establishing lines of communication with the specifying engineer. We're always happy to help clarify intent and explore alternatives. Avoiding or ignoring submittal requirements is a big invitation for risk.
