FinePoint is proud to have Bennett Olson, CTS complete the new Audiovisual Network Professional® Certification (ANP) from the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA). The recently introduced certification is valuable for both AV and IT professionals. It allows AV professionals to highlight their proficiency in traditional AV practices and effectively integrate AV equipment into networks. Conversely, IT professionals can utilize this credential to demonstrate their capability to incorporate AV elements into network infrastructure. The ANP certification covers a range of processes, starting with a needs analysis phase to understand client requirements and how to define a project scope properly. It then requires a demonstration of creating hardware and software network topology designs to meet existing infrastructure and performance needs. The certification also requires understanding system deployment activities like site readiness verification, device deployment, and performance validation. Finally, it encompasses project closeout tasks such as documentation, end-user training, and risk identification. AVIXA is a global organization dedicated to the professional audiovisual industry.
