Why are leadership competencies critical to product management?
As Product Managers, we are in the unique position of crafting solutions for a diverse array of individuals. It's inevitable that we won't always have an innate understanding of every user's needs or experiences. This is where the commitment to growing in understanding of our users is key. It's not just about grasping their routines but diving into the nuances that may irk them and, recognizing how our product can enhance their lives. The Product Manager dedicated to continuous learning is the one who will always be strides ahead. Why? They embrace innovation and resist becoming stagnant and saying phrases like "we've always done it this way". They pursue value and know the status quo can, and often should, be challenged for the better.

How do you collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders in developing technical training content?
One game-changing move is establishing a source of truth for your communications and documentation. And I'm not just talking about an overflowing email inbox. As a Product Owner, I've been down the road of traditional methods. Sure, Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation are solid picks. But let's break the mold a bit. Emails can get messy, and let's face it, they're not the best for real-time collaboration. I'm a fan of harnessing in-app "@" mention features in tools we use every day, like docs and spreadsheets. 🚀: Throw an "@" symbol in a comment and assign a row or task to someone and automatically they should get an email with a direct link to the spot you're talking about. That's what I call working smarter!
