    As a race-day volunteer I worked at one of the cycling aid stations. I assisted the racers directly by directing racers that needed help, coordinating with other volunteers to provide fast and efficient support, and distributed food & drink to the racers.

    As of July 2013 KEVA's 3-6 year-old day camp fell under the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families day camp licensing guidelines. Planning, documenting, and executing all compliance rules, regulations, and policies so that they fit with KEVA's programs was the goal of this project.

    As of July 2013 KEVA's 3-6 year-old day camp fell under the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families day camp licensing guidelines. Planning, documenting, and executing all compliance rules, regulations, and policies so that they fit with KEVA's programs was the goal of this project.

    Writing and editing a 30-page camp manual that includes all policies and procedures for KEVA's day camps, creating and adapting KEVA's programs to meet with DCF standards, and working with the DCF to ensure compliance were just a few steps involved with this project.

    As of September 2013 KEVA's 3-6 year-old day camps are fully licensed by the Wisconsin DCF and fall within compliance standards and guidelines for safety, programming, planning, documentation, and more.
