This week I've been playing with the remote podcasting tool Zencastr. The recording process was straightforward and the AI audio editing tools made it easy to remove (or keep) the "ums," "ahs," and "you knows." It was also crazy simple to upload my own video background and adjust the video feed images on top. You could also create multiple video sizes (e.g. landscape + portrait) but they used additional credits to export. My biggest hesitation with Zencastr is that there is no way to save your edits and come back to it – at least I haven't found a way. What if your internet goes out while you're editing or your browser crashes? 👀 Even after you send it to post-production, there's not a way to go back in and make adjustments if requested by a guest or someone else on the approval chain. It's definitely a one-take tool. Are there other low-cost, easy-to-use podcast recording and editing tools I should try? I'm keen to give Zencastr another go now that I've worked out the first-timer kinks, but I'd hate to lose my work while editing. #podcasting #marketing #videopodcasting
