Good article on a little-known intelligence agency in Washington that few people on the outside know about. For leaders dealing with data, knowledge, and intelligence Lessons to be learnt from their successes: - Hire experts and keep them motivated in their jobs for a long time. Generalists and job rotation are not a replacement for expertise. - Keep the teams small and nimble. Group think is great for avoidance of responsibility but not for good, timely decisions. - Keep the teams close to the "customer". You get feedback on your work and data for future analysis. As most articles, I am sure this one simplifies the events in real life but in my experience, these are very useful pillars in building a team
