Crypto is cooking with gas right now and we are seeing an upward trend of post-grads looking to jump in as their first career move. BUT whose job is it to provide entry level roles in crypto? Many small teams don’t have the structure, risk capabilities, and resources to mentor younger folks. Some firms like Messari used to have these types of funnels for entry level roles. Many of the younger people in crypto aggressively fought for their role and work on a team where everyone is in founder mode. Is the industry still too volatile to build out these lower level roles for post-college grads? Maybe not any moreeee Companies could really benefit from recruiting talent from top universities, getting young perspectives for consumer facing products, and more cost-effective salaries. Groups like Superteam are starting initiatives like this and Neil Shroff was boots on the ground at SolBoston talking about this and to college kids.
