How do you manage your deal flow?
Sometimes, it’s less about what you know, but rather, about who you know. Attending networking events and conferences can bring you a long way whether as an investor or founder so you should try to put yourself out there as much as possible and speak to different people. That way, they’ll think of you when suitable opportunities arise or help to make warm referrals within their network. Also try to add value by offering assistance if appropriate and you’re able to — you’d never know when the person you’re helping now might be able to help you down the road! Lastly, never underestimate the importance of following up after meetings — it helps differentiate you from the hundreds of other investors/founders.
