    Association for Accounting Marketing

    Put together an internal marketing campaign to reintroduce SALT services and introduce the new SALT leader. The internal campaign included monthly videos, an internal intranet page, updated marketing collateral and website page, periodic blog posts, and occasional articles in the monthly firm newsletter.

    With a Firm re-brand it was only natural to upgrade the six blogs to follow the brand guidelines that were implemented. While redesigning them we made them easily accessible from the toolbar on the website. By following the brand guidelines, we eliminated confusion from the IRS blog. All six blogs were placed on one platform to make it easier to manage. A visible disclaimer in the conversation box has drastically reduced comments from readers asking for free advice. We also made the blogs user friendly by allowing the reader to search a topic on all six blogs at once on the website.

    Performed a brand audit to determine the Firm's personality traits and values. From the brand audit we developed the conceptual and verbal guidelines of the brand. From that we created the visual guidelines that included a new logo, primary and secondary colors, firm font, brand patters, and 12 icons to represent our core services and industries. Once we had our guidelines in place it was time to develop a new website, collateral, stationary, digital, promotional, etc. We launched an internal training program so everyone understands the Firm brand and how to represent themselves and the Firm.

  • Marketing Achievement Award for Non-Technical Published Article

    Association for Accounting Marketing

    Due to our press release on the Firm's ranking in the Phoenix Business Journal for Best Corporate Volunteer Programs, the ASCPA contacted Marketing to write an article for the publication. Marketing determined the best angle for the article, interviewed key team members and submitted the article for consideration. The article was published and reached more than 5,700 ASCPA members. This helped build a relationship with the ASCPA's AZ CPA magazine.

We kept it clean and modern while following the main value of the Firm: People. We used icons to represent the 6 core services and 6 core industries. The site is written for the user. We featured contact forms throughout the site to make it easy for the user to contact us. The responsive site allowed for a 40% increase in mobile users. We had over 1,200 sessions in the first…

    In conjunction with the re-brand, we launched a new responsive website. The website followed the new brand guidelines. We kept it clean and modern while following the main value of the Firm: People. We used icons to represent the 6 core services and 6 core industries. The site is written for the user. We featured contact forms throughout the site to make it easy for the user to contact us. The responsive site allowed for a 40% increase in mobile users. We had over 1,200 sessions in the first three days of the launch. In four months we increased the pages viewed by 23%, users' average time on the site by 20% and the visits to the "Services" page by 620%.

    To go with our updated e-Newsletter the marketing department created monthly Infographics that support one article in each issue. The Infographics provided our readers with quick access to one of the three monthly articles so they can get the overview of the article without reading the full pieces.     Put together a six piece ad campaign for the restaurant niche. The campaign was featured in the Arizona Restaurant Association News publication.

  • 2011 Association for Accounting Marketing - Marketing Achievement Award for Niche Building Campaign

    Association for Accounting Marketing

    Build a name for the firm in the restaurant industry by creating a quarterly restaurant publication, six piece ad campaign, six piece direct mail campaign and getting involved with the Arizona Restaurant Association by sponsoring two events and writing two articles for their publication. Obtained 14 new clients from the marketing efforts.
