Having trouble connecting with your community? Here's what I did to get started: - Join the Chamber of Commerce! If your a young entrepreneur, join their Young Professionals program. Attend the mixers, making sure to meet new people, and then follow up with them. Find ways to cross-pollinate relationships. Work together on a new service or project. It's all about the creative partnerships! - Volunteer with an organization you're passionate about- there are SO many in Sonoma Valley. La Luz has an ESL tutoring program; Pet's Lifeline needs help with the animals; Impact100 and Catalyst Funds can be an outlet for your professional skills; apply for a Commission position with the City. - The fun part: hang out around town and support the other small businesses!
