In an effort to understand the digital divide in our workforce, the National Skills Coalition recently released the findings of a public opinion poll on digital skill-building issues: 64% of voters believe that a serious problem facing America’s workers is the lack of access to training programs that allow them to upgrade their skills to keep up with changing technologies in the workplace. 90% of voters support policies that provide access to digital skills training for workers throughout their careers to adapt to new technologies. In today’s job market, where 92% of jobs require digital skills, it's alarming that one-third of workers lack the foundational digital skills necessary to thrive.
