Comcast NBCUniversal is extending a helping hand to Florida communities impacted by Hurricane Milton. The company's donation of $500,000, including cash and in-kind contributions, will support disaster relief efforts. $250,000 in cash will be divided between the Florida Disaster Fund and 11 community-based organizations like All Faiths Food Bank and Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice. Additionally, $250,000 in in-kind contributions will provide airtime for public service announcements to keep communities informed. This commitment, combined with previous aid for Hurricane Helene relief, brings Comcast's total contributions in the southeast U.S. to $1.5 million, with a significant focus on Florida – totaling $700,000 in cash and in-kind support.
