ASCENSION HEALTH "DATA-PRIVACY-CRISIS"--MAY 8, 2024. I wonder what role "Digital-Tracker-Codes" may have played in this crisis? (See CNN Article below). For those of you who follow my LinkedIn Blog-Posts, you may have noticed a prior Post of an article which revealed that "21 USA Healthcare Service Providers" are engulfed in either Class Action Lawsuits or Federal Gov Agency investigations of "Digital-Data-PRIVACY" breaches. The article further revealed that the worm-hole of data-PRIVACY-Access, was Digital-Tracker-Codes, being used within the Healthcare Service Provider's digital-marketing plans. Here at Didgebridge, we are in process of explaining to the industry, that this "digital-tracker-code-privacy-risk" in marketing is so completely unnecessary today. These antiquated marketing tools of the 25 year old Web2.0, porous marketing era seem strikingly out-of-place in our current era of Consensual, data-PRIVATE, marketing. (See article below). For decades, siloed data systems slowed adverse drug reporting to a crawl. Now national healthcare organizations can access the data they need in real time. Here’s how #FHIR made it possible:   The #interoperability standard plays an essential role in Project BEST, an initiative from the FDA and eHealth Exchange that automates adverse drug event reporting and improves patient safety. I recently had the pleasure of joining Jay Nakashima, president of eHealth Exchange, on a HIMSSCast to discuss how it came to life.   Jay and I explain how the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs tapped the project to build a cutting-edge system for delivering notifications about adverse events tied to biologics and vaccinations. It replaced old approaches to information sharing with a speedy connection to drug data. And it opened the door to the robust surveillance needed to protect the people who serve our nation.   As FHIR continues to enable new workflows, unprecedented use cases abound. Do you find it difficult to get constructive feedback? Reid Hoffman & Allie K. Miller's video below offers a thought-provoking demonstration of using GPTs to improve human productivity. One frequent use in my day-to-day is asking GPTs for feedback. Interpersonal relationships can sometimes filter out genuine, constructive insights. I’ve started using GPTs to analyze my emails to customers, transcripts of meetings, and presentations. The feedback on style, tone, and clarity has been invaluable. For instance, it helped me transform a "long-winded and overly direct" email to a customer into a more concise message with a friendly and accommodating tone. Some say, "AI is not going to replace humans, but humans with AI are going to replace humans without AI." AI has definitely helped improve my communication. P.S. I did use ChatGPT to give feedback on this post. I was looking for clear and engaging. How did we do?

But the ruling could also have broader implications for data privacy and particularly around the use case of analytics companies having broad access to patient health information. I can imagine that this might also have implications for LLM training data, as AI continues to march throughout the healthcare ecosystem. Real Time Medical Systems alleges that PointClickCare (PCC) is blocking its access to EHR data by using security ciphers. Real Time claims this is an anti-competitive move following PCC's expansion into post-acute analytics. A judge appears likely to block PCC's actions, emphasizing the need for data access to improve patient care as mandated by the 21st Century Cures Act. This may enhance interoperability, but there is a lot to consider. Thank you Brendan Keeler for bringing this important topic to light.
